- About the Program
The Simulation-Based Education (SBE) program is an initiative under AMEC focused on strengthening medical education through innovative simulation approaches.
We utilize virtual simulation and structured training to equip healthcare professionals and educators with the skills needed to design, deliver, and facilitate simulation-based learning.
Participants are trained to conduct SBE in:
- Face-to-face settings
- Virtual environments
- High-fidelity simulation
- Low-fidelity simulation

AMEC leads the implementation and delivery of simulation-based education programs, focusing on building local capacity and integrating SBE into sustainable medical education systems.

SBME Training Programs

Simulation-Based Education (SBE) Training Workshop
This course is based on the NHS training model and is accredited with 6 CPD points – Virtual Workshop
It aims to equip medical educators with the fundamental principles of clinical simulation-based education (SBE) and develop practical skills to enhance medical education and learning through SBE techniques.

SBE Curriculum Integration Workshop
Virtual Workshop – 3 CPD Points
This training focuses on integrating simulation-based education into medical curricula. It aims to enable medical educators to design, align, and implement curricula that effectively integrate SBME that supports learning outcomes, enhances clinical Competence, and improves patient safety.

SBE Debriefing (Upcoming)
Focused on developing structured and effective debriefing skills following simulation sessions.

SBE Scenario Writing (Upcoming)
Training on designing and developing high-quality simulation scenarios.
