- About the Clinic
The Virtual Sudan Clinic is an initiative under AMEC that delivers free, accessible healthcare services to Sudanese including both conflict-affected and non-conflict-affected areas.
The clinic operates as a referral-based virtual service across multiple specialties, including general medicine, surgical specialties, dentistry, and mental and psychological health.
Through a network of dedicated volunteer healthcare professionals, the clinic provides remote consultations to support patients in underserved communities, including those in camps and refugee settings.

Free consultations provided from Saturday to Thursday
Working hours: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM (Khartoum time)
Consultation methods:
– Messaging via WhatsApp
– Voice/Video Calls via Google Meet (when needed for more detailed assessment)

– The clinic does NOT handle emergency cases
– Patients should contact the clinic within working hours
– Please respond promptly to doctors to ensure effective consultation
– In emergencies, please contact the nearest healthcare facility or ambulance services.

Our Standards
We ensure that all volunteers are appropriately qualified and safe to practice. This includes verification of professional registration, licensing status, and registration on our platform.
All volunteers complete a structured induction program covering telemedicine practice, clinical governance, and platform use before participating in patient care. Through continuous capacity building, we support our team to deliver safe, ethical, and high-quality care across all consultations.
Data Privacy
Patient information is managed through a secure and confidential digital health system (Gupshup), ensuring privacy and continuity of care.
